Studio Hirundo is an amazing project that has been created by a group of student musicians from Lyon with exiled people supported by SINGA charity. In just a few months, they brought together musicians and poets of various nationalities and recorded an intercultural musical album. This project has created a space for expression and artistic creation around the issue of migration and all the difficulties and obstacles that these people have experienced, experienced and overcome. Following the recording of the album in February 2021, Studio Hirundo performed on several stages in Lyon, including at Les Subsistances as part of the Refugee Food Festival. It was a poignant and very moving concert from which I was lucky enough to be able to capture a few images.
