Equinox: when daytime equals night time… the fragile equilibrium before falling into the cold season. It’s a fabulous time to dive into Nature and watch all the changes at work in every corner of the landscape. I was lucky enough this year to spend 2 days on the High Plateaus of the Vercors for this culmination of summer. I saw the meandering lights through the massive clouds forming in the valleys, wrapping up the passes and the peaks and then dissolving into the ether, thunderstorms cracking in the distance, the golden dawn hitting the cliffs, and also the trees emerging from the mist and rising up on the ridges like guardians of these deserted mountains. Massive transformation of the elements, with whether we like it or not, we are intimately connected to.
